Employee Profile: Jerry Bradley
A Southboro woman wrote a letter a few years ago, “I had a flat tire and I was in front of Framingham State College. One of your oil truck drivers saw me stranded, turned around and came to my rescue. He refused to give me his name or accept any money……”

His name is Jerry Bradley, a life long Framingham resident and known at Jamie Oil as our “senior man”, based on his twenty years of outstanding service to our customers and company. Jerry has always lived in Framingham’s cozy neighborhood of Saxonville, and is known as one of the safest and most experienced oil drivers in Eastern Massachusetts. A full time Framingham firefighter for the last thirty years, Bradley plans to retire soon and drive full time at Jamie Oil next winter.
One of the hardest workers you’ll ever find, Jerry plows snow in the winter and works for a paving company when the heating season is done. “Jerry Bradley has never let us down,” reports Jamie Oil President Tom Carey, “and he always has a joke or a funny story to share. He’s a pleasure to be around.” Married with two children, Jerry once volunteered to coach a youth basketball team that had no coach. Like the woman with the flat tire, one of the basketball parents called Bradley “a hero”. |
