Jamie Oil Announces Air Conditioning Service

When Dave Carter returned to Jamie Oil in September after successfully running his own Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning business for the last three years, most industry insiders knew something was going on.

Dave had worked at JOC from February 2001 until December 2007 as an oil heat technician, and had spent the previous 20 years at Trinity Oil in Framingham, prior to the company being sold in 1999. A licensed air conditioning technician, Dave spent the last three years tuning up, repairing and installing air conditioning equipment in the Metro West area.

“We wanted to get into the AC business and we needed an experienced guy to lead the way,” JOC General Manager Rick Auen was quoted as saying.

“Our philosophy has always been that we want to be the best at what we do in our geographic area,” according to Tom Carey, President of Jamie Oil. “While we have several guys on the payroll that have been to school and have the proper HVAC license, we needed to have an experienced trouble shooter to lead our team.”

Effective May 2011, Jamie Oil will begin performing annual tune ups and equipment repairs on all aspects of central air conditioning systems. We will also replace worn out systems as well as quote our customers on the installation of new equipment.

“Our goal is simple,” Auen said, “we want to build the same reputation for quality in the air conditioning business as we have in oil heat.”
